PRIVACY POLICY

Pre-launch version v0.6 - Effective 11 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information ARTIQ ARENA collects, how it is captured, used, shared and retained, and how users can request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information.

ARTIQ ARENA is currently a pre-launch competitive Fortnite Match service. Real-money deposits and withdrawals are not currently available.

1. Who we are / operator

ARTIQ ARENA is an independent pre-launch competitive Fortnite Match service operated and managed by the ARTIQ ARENA project team. A later version of this Privacy Policy will identify the final operating entity and legal jurisdiction before real-money payments or cash-out are enabled.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us using the details in Section 15.

2. Information we collect

ARTIQ ARENA collects only information needed to operate accounts, connected services, Matches, Drafts, moderation, security, support and pre-launch platform functionality.

(a) Information you provide directly

When you register or use ARTIQ ARENA, you may provide:

  • an ARTIQ ARENA platform username;
  • your date of birth for the 18+ eligibility check;
  • an optional platform avatar;
  • Match Chat and Draft Team Chat messages;
  • Draft confirmation and player-selection actions;
  • dispute statements, evidence descriptions and evidence URLs;
  • support requests and support-ticket summaries;
  • other information you intentionally submit through platform features.

We also record your acceptance of the version of the Terms, Privacy Policy and Match Rules applicable at the time of acceptance.

(b) Connected account information

When you choose to sign in with or connect a third-party account:

  • Discord provides your Discord account ID and display name through the Discord identify scope;
  • Google provides the Google account subject identifier, verified email address and display name required for authentication and account linking;
  • Epic Games provides your Epic Account ID and Epic display name through Epic Account Services using the Basic Profile scope.

If you use the official Discord support flow, ARTIQ ARENA may also process the Discord interaction ID, Discord server ID, private support-thread ID, category, Match code where supplied and the support information that you submit. The Discord community invitation alone does not send ARTIQ ARENA Draft roster, pick or Team Chat data to Discord.

ARTIQ ARENA does not receive or store your Discord, Google or Epic Games password.

(c) Match, Draft and platform activity information

Use of ARTIQ ARENA creates records including:

  • Match participation, configuration, status and results;
  • Draft participation, confirmation status, captain assignment, pick order, team allocation and Draft status;
  • roster and team information;
  • Match Chat and Draft Team Chat;
  • Snipe-reveal snapshots for public Matches or Drafts;
  • disputes, evidence, moderation and support records;
  • Token and Ledger records;
  • records required to maintain Match, Draft and platform integrity.

(d) Technical, security and analytics information

ARTIQ ARENA may automatically process network or IP address, request date and time, requested route, response status, referrer, browser or User-Agent information, and authentication session, expiry and revocation information. The application stores a one-way hash of the ARTIQ ARENA session token in the persistent session record rather than storing the raw session token.

During OAuth flows, the request network address may be used temporarily for security and rate limiting. Server and infrastructure logs may also contain information necessary to operate and secure the service.

Where Yandex Metrica is enabled, it may receive standard browser and page-use analytics under Yandex's own privacy practices. Custom analytics events use anonymous event names and do not intentionally include usernames, dates of birth, Epic IDs, Discord IDs, balances, Ledger data, Match Chat, Draft Team Chat, evidence, form values or Match and Draft details. Webvisor is disabled in ARTIQ ARENA's configuration.

(e) Payment information

ARTIQ ARENA is currently in pre-launch. Real-money deposits and withdrawals are unavailable. ARTIQ ARENA does not currently collect or store bank-card details, bank-account details or payment credentials.

3. How information is captured

Information is captured when you register, configure your profile, create, join, leave or confirm a Draft, participate in captain picks, use Draft Team Chat or Match Chat, participate in a Match, submit a result, dispute or evidence, open a Discord or website support ticket, or use another feature through which you intentionally submit information.

Technical and security information may be captured automatically through authentication sessions, essential cookies, OAuth state, security controls, rate limiting and application, server or infrastructure logs. Where enabled, standard website analytics may also be captured through Yandex Metrica.

Information is captured from Discord, Google or Epic Games only when you choose to use the relevant sign-in, account-linking or Discord support feature. For Epic Games, ARTIQ ARENA requests only Epic Account Services Basic Profile. ARTIQ ARENA does not collect personal data from public sources.

4. How information is used

ARTIQ ARENA uses personal information to:

  • create and manage ARTIQ ARENA accounts and authenticate users;
  • connect Discord, Google or Epic accounts and perform the 18+ eligibility check;
  • operate Matches, Draft ready checks, captain selection and team allocation;
  • manage teams and rosters and display information required for participation;
  • operate Match Chat and Draft Team Chat;
  • process results, disputes and evidence;
  • provide support and moderation;
  • maintain Token and Ledger audit records;
  • prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access;
  • enforce platform rules and maintain Match and Draft integrity;
  • protect the security and stability of the service;
  • understand aggregate platform usage;
  • comply with applicable legal, accounting, security or provider obligations.

Epic Account Data is used only for Epic account linking, Epic identity authentication, Fortnite Match and Draft participation, necessary Match and Draft roster display, and Match and Draft integrity. ARTIQ ARENA does not use Epic Account Data for advertising.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information may be processed as necessary to provide the service and perform our agreement with you; for legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, Match and Draft integrity and service operation; to comply with legal obligations; or on the basis of consent where an optional feature specifically requires it.

5. How information is shared

ARTIQ ARENA does not sell personal information. Information is shared only where necessary to operate ARTIQ ARENA, provide requested functionality, maintain Match and Draft integrity and security, or comply with applicable obligations.

(a) Other Match and Draft participants

Other participants may see information necessary to participate in the relevant Match or Draft. This may include an ARTIQ ARENA username, selected platform avatar, Match or Draft information, team and roster information and Epic display name where required for participation.

Before captain selection in a Draft, a participant sees their own identity; other participant cards are anonymous. Once Draft team allocation begins, active Draft participants can see the roster information and competitive W/L record needed for captain picks. Team Chat is visible only to active players assigned to that Team; the opposing Draft side cannot read it and it is not transferred into ordinary Match Chat.

The opposing ordinary-Match roster remains hidden while Match acceptance is pending. Once identity locking ends, participants may see the final roster's ARTIQ ARENA username and Epic display name.

A Snipe used on an eligible public Match or public Draft may reveal the then-current roster information to the user who uses the feature. Later Draft joins are not added to that user's existing Draft Snipe reveal automatically.

(b) ARTIQ ARENA staff and service providers

Authorized moderators and administrators may access information necessary for Draft and Match operations, disputes and evidence review, support and abuse reports, moderation and security, Token and Ledger audit, and handling verified data requests.

Information may be processed by third-party providers where technically or operationally necessary to provide ARTIQ ARENA. Current providers or connected services may include hosting and infrastructure providers, Discord, Google, Epic Games and Epic Account Services, and Yandex Metrica where analytics is enabled.

Discord processes content sent through its community and support features under Discord's own terms and privacy practices. ARTIQ ARENA uses Discord support only as a transport: Discord does not decide Match results, payouts, refunds or Ledger movements.

(c) Legal and security disclosures

Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect ARTIQ ARENA, its users or others from fraud, abuse, security threats or unlawful activity. ARTIQ ARENA does not sell Epic Account Data or disclose it to advertisers.

6. How information is retained

ARTIQ ARENA retains different categories of information according to the purpose for which the information is required. Information is not retained merely for the purpose of accumulating personal data.

Account and connected-provider records are retained while needed to operate the account and connected features. Where deletion is requested, information is deleted unless it must remain for an active Match, security, platform integrity, audit or applicable legal obligations.

Authentication sessions stop authorizing access when they expire or are revoked. Hashed session-token and related security records may remain after expiry or revocation where required for security and audit purposes. Temporary onboarding sessions expire after ten minutes.

Match, Draft, Snipe-reveal, result, dispute, evidence, moderation, support, Token and Ledger records are retained as long-term ARTIQ ARENA audit history during pre-launch. There is currently no automatic general purge of these records. Historical Match, Draft and Ledger records remain associated with ARTIQ ARENA identity and do not require a retained Epic Account ID.

The central Epic external-account record contains the Epic Account ID and current Epic display name while the Epic account remains connected. Temporary Epic display-name snapshots may be copied into Match participant, Draft participant or Snipe-reveal records where needed for the relevant feature. Epic Account IDs are not stored in Match Participant, Draft Participant or Ledger history.

Temporary Match display-name snapshots are cleared after the Match reaches a terminal state. Draft and Snipe-reveal records are retained for platform audit history; a verified Epic Account Data deletion request covers Epic display-name copies in those records that remain under ARTIQ ARENA's control.

An Epic Account Data deletion audit record may retain the ARTIQ ARENA account and timing information necessary to record that the deletion occurred. It does not retain the deleted Epic Account ID.

Server, infrastructure and analytics information may be retained under the configurations, retention settings or policies of the relevant service provider or host system. ARTIQ ARENA does not state a fixed retention period for this information in this Policy because no deployment-wide period is currently configured.

7. Epic Account Services and deletion requests

ARTIQ ARENA uses Epic Account Services with the Basic Profile scope only.

(a) How Epic Account Data is captured

Epic Account Data is captured only when a user chooses to connect an Epic Games account. ARTIQ ARENA receives an Epic Account ID and Epic display name. During the connection process, the ARTIQ ARENA backend temporarily receives an Epic OAuth access token only to retrieve the Basic Profile. ARTIQ ARENA does not persist that access token or an Epic refresh token. Epic OAuth tokens are not sent to the frontend. ARTIQ ARENA never receives or stores the user's Epic Games password.

(b) How Epic Account Data is used and shared

Epic Account Data is used only for account linking, Epic identity authentication, Fortnite Match and Draft participation, necessary roster display and Match and Draft integrity. It is not used for advertising.

The Epic display name may be shown to the participants described in Section 5 where necessary for Match or Draft participation. Authorized ARTIQ ARENA staff and infrastructure providers may access Epic Account Data only where necessary for support, security, moderation or Match and Draft integrity. ARTIQ ARENA does not sell Epic Account Data or disclose it to advertisers.

(c) How Epic Account Data is deleted

To request deletion of Epic Account Data, open a ticket in the official ARTIQ ARENA Discord support flow or contact art1stoff@mail.ru. This is the service's accessible request channel; ARTIQ ARENA may verify that the request comes from the linked account holder before acting on it.

ARTIQ ARENA will promptly delete Epic Account Data under its control after a verified request, except to the extent an active Match, security, platform integrity, audit or applicable law permits or requires temporary retention. During a permitted delay, ARTIQ ARENA stops using the requested Epic Account Data except as required for that purpose and deletes it when the reason for the delay ends.

An Epic account is not automatically re-linked after deletion. A user may need support review before a previously deleted Epic account can be linked again.

8. Cookies and analytics

ARTIQ ARENA uses essential cookies for authentication and OAuth state. These cookies are required for sign-in and connected-account flows.

Where Yandex Metrica is configured, it operates on public pages and the sign-up onboarding screen for standard website analytics. ARTIQ ARENA pageview reporting uses the route pathname without query parameters. Webvisor is disabled.

9. Match, Draft, Chat, evidence and moderation

ARTIQ ARENA creates and stores information required to operate competitive Matches and Drafts. This may include participants, teams, configuration, status, confirmation and pick events, results, roster snapshots, Match Chat, Draft Team Chat, disputes, evidence descriptions and URLs, support records and moderation decisions.

This information is used as necessary to operate Matches and Drafts, resolve results and disputes, investigate abuse, enforce Match Rules, provide support and maintain platform integrity. Visibility to other users is limited to information required for the relevant Match or Draft functionality. Authorized moderators and administrators may access additional information where required for review, moderation, support, integrity or security.

10. Your rights and data requests

You may contact ARTIQ ARENA to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, including Epic Account Data. Other statutory rights may apply depending on applicable law.

Open a ticket in the official ARTIQ ARENA Discord support flow or contact art1stoff@mail.ru. Deletion rights may be subject to information that must temporarily or permanently remain for an active Match, security, platform integrity, audit or applicable legal obligations.

11. Data security

ARTIQ ARENA uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a pre-launch service. These include access controls, server-side validation, protected authentication flows, session security, audit records and restrictions on administrative and moderation access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Users should also protect their Discord, Google and Epic accounts and the devices used to access ARTIQ ARENA.

12. International and third-party processing

ARTIQ ARENA, its infrastructure providers and connected third-party services may process information outside the user's country. Such processing is subject to the relevant provider's terms, privacy practices, applicable contractual arrangements and applicable law.

13. Age requirement

ARTIQ ARENA is intended only for people aged 18 or older. The date of birth provided during registration is used for the 18+ eligibility check. The service is not intended for people under 18.

If you believe that a person under 18 has provided personal information to ARTIQ ARENA, contact us using the details in Section 15.

14. Policy updates and versioning

The active Privacy Policy and its version are published at:

https://artiqarena.com/privacy

Published Privacy Policy versions are retained and are not overwritten. New registrations record acceptance of the active Privacy Policy version. Where a future change is significant, ARTIQ ARENA may require users to accept a newer Privacy Policy version through the platform's versioned document flow.
